The purchase of Citrio (a citrus packing facility at Eendekuil) can now be confirmed! The transaction supports, and is in line with GHC’s strategic goals for improved client services and growth. All the permanent staff at Citrio has been kept on as GHC employees as per law and the purchase contract.

The packing facility will function as an independent profit / cost centre under GHC management. Citrio will thus continue to pack fruit. The involvement of GHC and its knowledgeable resources will definitely benefit a lot of citrus growers in the Eendekuil and surrounding areas, because they now have the opportunity to have their citrus produce packed here. This will also provide GHC with the opportunity to gain access to more citrus growers in the area. Gerhard van Huyssteen is in charge of the Citrio plant.
